Mont St. Michel
So I actually put off completing this website until now, February 2011, which is very unusual for me. I'm always very enthusiastic about it, and know that I
lose a lot of details if I wait too long. After being on the road for such a long stretch, and the fact this this part of the trip ended
up being exhausting, I understand why it sat.
Looking at my journal, I start out by saying "Tough logistics day."
Wake up call at 4am, left hotel by 5:30.
At the airport something was wrng with my ticket so it took me an extra 45min to get through.
As a souvenier I bought some olive oil with "black truffle aroma" for 28 euro, then saw the one Alister actually had a piece of truffle in it,
unlike mine : (

It was a small plane, and here you see Phil sitting behind me.
In early 2010 he would be diagnosed with cancer and die within a few months afterwards. I'm glad I had the chance to spend time with him on this trip.
On the left is the sandwich I made to take-away from the hotel, and on the right the airplane sandwich- same thing.
The plane took off 30min late due to traffic at CDG, so when we landed people were antsy to make connections and the Houstin bound folks got a special bus
Those staying here didn't have to go through customs or immigration since it was Eu to EU.
