After April 16th was declared "Jimmy Buffett Day" by the Florida Legislature, I figured I should be in Florida to honor it as well as be there for the opening show of the new tour. Why wait another week?

Flight was only $10 via freq flyer program, hotel was free on points as well.

In the news this past week it was actually announced Houston would not be getting one of the four retired shuttles.

At an airport shop I found a perfect shirt for the, and thought this would be a good omen for my seahorse hunting on Sunday.

Tour Kicks Off in Tampa!
Jimmy Buffett and the Coral Reefer Band kicked off the Welcome to Fin Land Tour in Tampa on Saturday night at the 1-800-ASK-GARY Amphitheatre.

I spot a Margarilla.

Paid $330 to get these 4th row (left section) seats off StubHub. Great seats, but it turns out there would be two gigantic people in the row right in front of me, often blocking out half the stage. Sigh.
