Dave's Katy Perry- San Antonio

In July after seeing Katy in Austin I was so impressed I had to see her again, and luckily she would be back in the area soon. Within two days I had bought an after market ticket to get a good seat.

Opening act was Janelle Monae. I had previously seen her open for Prince in Madison Square Garden. For an opening act I've never seen so many people on stage, high energy, really blew things up. Impressive.

There was a session before the show that I was originally supposed to be at, but I got bumped to after the show.
I would say she met with maybe 50 people, but only the last group of five people that I was in got to get one pic with their own camera and something autographed.

Katy's sister was there keeping things organized. Unfortunately the pic she took was a little blurry, but I'm still pleased with it.

I was psyched all week and loved that I got to meet her. She understandably was a little tired, and can't say I had much in common with these other backstage guests other than a common love of Katy, but good times were had by all. : )
