Stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn right in the Woodlands using points.

My first time at Luby's- all you can eat breakfast for under $6.

Typical Texas.

The nondescript downtown skyline.

Was about an hours drive to the Space Center.

Just so happened it was a special day- they got one of the Space Shuttles and it was arriving today.

Brings back memories from middle school where we actually went to a launch at Cape Canaveral- it was awesome. We were actually supposed to go see the launch where the Challenger blew up too, but it kept getting postponed.

So this next manned mission is to Mars in something like 2035- weird to think a lot of people I know will be dead by then...

Some spare tires and whatnot...

Cool, makes you proud to be an American.

REALLY big rocket.

One of these kids looks different.

Even in space they have Aloha wear!
